About the Project
Butterfly Foundation is Australia's national charity for eating disorders and body image issues, providing support services to some of the country's most vulnerable people. The site is a critical part of their support infrastructure - most importantly their live chat service, which connects people in need with trained counsellors around the clock.
We provide ongoing development and critical uptime support, ensuring the site and its chat system remain available and reliable. Keeping this service online isn't just a technical obligation — it genuinely matters to the people who depend on it.
The WordPress build uses Timber and Twig for clean, maintainable templating, with ACF powering flexible content management. Custom Gravity Forms handle sensitive enquiry and referral workflows, while React components bring interactivity to key areas of the UI including carousels, the main navigation and the sidebar navigation.
